Cake Poker will be giving all their players the opportunity to earn a seat to the Aussie Millions, and each package will include the main event buy-in, a ten night stay at the luxurious Crown Promenade Hotel, $1 500 for travel expenses and much more.

The Aussie Millions will run for 17 days consisting of a total of twenty tournaments and millions of dollars in prize pools (a first place prize of $2m). With buy-ins ranging from $1K – $100K its no wonder this tournament has become such a popular feature of the poker calendar. They also want the exposure that is given to the top players in the tournament.

Broadcast on the Fox Sports Net, the Aussie Millions tournament organization expects a field of ten thousand players which will make a $10 million prize pool. The Aussie Millions grew into the massive event that it is now after several years of hard work. The first $1 million prize was given away in 2005 just two years after the first Aussie Millions tournament in 03. Jamil Dia was the first player to win a $1 million prize. As the event kept growing the Aussie Millions started to increase the prize pool, until it reached $2 million for the first time in 09.
